Project Appleseed™: Liberty, Marksmanship, and History
Marksmanship played a critical role in the American Revolutionary War, and Project Appleseed seeks to preserve that tradition which unites us as Americans.
Project Appleseed™ is a non-partisan, apolitical nonprofit organization composed entirely of volunteers dedicated to liberty, marksmanship, and history. Since 2005, Project Appleseed has conducted rifle and pistol marksmanship clinics all over the country with over 200,000 participants to date. We encourage all Americans to attend. Mastering the art and science of rifle and pistol marksmanship is a part of our shared American heritage.
Marksmanship played a critical role in the American Revolutionary War, and Project Appleseed seeks to preserve that tradition which unites us as Americans. Our one and two day clinics combine rock-solid instruction in the fundamentals combined with the stories of the start of the Revolution. Hear about the individuals who faced extraordinary challenges in the pursuit of Liberty.
On April 19, 1775 Paul Revere’s midnight ride alerted the countryside that the Regulars were out, and Captain John Parker mustered his men on Lexington Green. Participants learn about the people, events, and choices that helped shape our nation, all while building and honing their marksmanship skills.

We welcome people of varying ages and experience levels, giving an opportunity for both beginners and experienced participants to learn, practice, build confidence, and enjoy the camaraderie. With an unwavering focus on safety and solid instruction in the fundamentals, our mission is to forge a nation of Riflemen capable of making repeatable hits out to 500 yards, the Rifleman’s Quarter-Mile, and beyond.
